I try to keep the arrangement of apps as similar as they are on the more-frequently-used iPhone, as that aids with muscle-memory.
My iPhone 4S home screen.
I try to keep folders to a minimum on my home screen, and I’m constantly rearranging apps to find the ideal arrangement. Of course it’s absolutely essential to keep them organized by colour AND function, which is nearly impossible.
I’ve been known to delete apps based on their icons’ colours not fitting-in, and it goes without saying that a hideous icon is reason enough not to own an otherwise-amazing app. Truthfully, that almost never happens, as talented app designers would never put up with a lame icon.
Many people seem to put their most-accessed apps top-left. Mine are bottom-right.
Much more focused on music, radio & podcasts than anything. My iPod touch is white, like my iPhone 4S & my New iPad, but homesecreen.me doesn’t offer that option. :(
